Europe Meets China

We are looking for 6 young participants from Serbia, aged 18 to 25, who are eager to explore the historical and cultural connections between Europe and China. This youth exchange is perfect for you if:

– You are curious about how European and Chinese civilizations evolved and influenced each other.

– You want to understand the differences between Confucianism and Christianity, and how these belief systems shaped societal values.

– You’re interested in exploring topics like state organization, colonial encounters, and cultural exchange between China and the West.

The youth exchange “Europe Meets China” brings together young people from seven European countries to explore the complex relationship between two major civilizations. Through interactive workshops, group discussions, cultural nights, and creative tasks like video-making, participants will reflect on global power dynamics, identity, and the role of Europe in today’s world. The project will take place at the Red Cross Educational Center in Orahovica, Croatia — a peaceful and natural setting ideal for intercultural learning, reflection, and collaboration.

EXTRA SPOTS are available for participants who meet one of the following criteria:

1. They are of Chinese or East Asian descent.

2. They have studied in China,

3. They are studying something related to East Asia.

Please note: This is not a vacation package. Comfortable accommodation and meals will be provided, focusing on the essentials of the project.

Nature Logbook

We are looking for 2 youth workers from Serbia, aged 18+, who want to strengthen their skills in environmental education through direct contact with nature. This educational mobility is a perfect opportunity for you if:

– You are interested in how simple outdoor activities can inspire young people to reconnect with the natural world.

– You want to learn how to use the Nature Logbook – an analog tool that encourages reflection, creativity, and ecological observation.

– You care about developing approaches that raise ecological awareness with minimal or no use of digital tools.

– You are motivated to apply what you learn in your work with youth, especially in outdoor or rural settings.

The training course “Nature Logbook” brings together youth workers from six countries on the island of Elafonisos, Greece, where through outdoor experiences, observation, reflection, and creativity, we develop new tools for environmental education. The aim is to empower participants with hands-on, low-tech methods that can be directly used in local contexts. Accommodation is in individual tents on one of the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean – the perfect setting for learning, connection, and idea exchange.

Please note: This is not a vacation package. Comfortable accommodation and meals will be provided, focusing on the essentials of the project.
