GREENPRENEURSHIP
Training Course
07.10-15.10.2024.
Orebić, Croatia
We’re excited to announce the successful completion of the Erasmus+ training course “Greenpreneurship for Sustainable Futures”, held in Borje, Orebić, Croatia, from October 7th to 15th, 2024. This Mobility of Youth Workers project provided an opportunity for Euroactive Serbia to collaborate with youth workers and educators from across Europe, exploring how entrepreneurship and sustainability can go hand in hand to foster green innovations.
The training focused on equipping participants with the knowledge and tools to develop sustainable business models, integrate circular economy principles, and create impactful green initiatives. Through interactive workshops, hands-on activities, and group challenges, we explored ways to minimize waste, promote responsible resource management, and implement eco-friendly business ideas.
One of the highlights of the training was the opportunity to develop real green business plans and test their viability through practical exercises. Participants engaged in simulations and case studies, learning how to balance financial sustainability with social and environmental impact. In addition, we explored successful examples of green entrepreneurship and discussed ways to implement similar models in our own communities.
Beyond knowledge exchange, the project fostered strong networking opportunities, allowing participants to connect, share experiences, and establish future collaborations. Structured sessions focused on developing joint initiatives, ensuring that the impact of this training extends beyond the project itself.
Our participation in “Greenpreneurship for Sustainable Futures” reinforced the importance of integrating sustainability into entrepreneurship. By learning how to create environmentally responsible business models, participants gained valuable insights into how they can contribute to a greener future.
Supported by the Erasmus+ program and organized by Pozitiva Samobor, this training equipped us with practical tools and strategies that we are eager to apply and share within our network. We look forward to seeing the projects and collaborations that emerge from this experience come to life in the months ahead.
