Europe Meets China

We are looking for 6 young participants from Serbia, aged 18 to 25, who are eager to explore the historical and cultural connections between Europe and China. This youth exchange is perfect for you if:

– You are curious about how European and Chinese civilizations evolved and influenced each other.

– You want to understand the differences between Confucianism and Christianity, and how these belief systems shaped societal values.

– You’re interested in exploring topics like state organization, colonial encounters, and cultural exchange between China and the West.

 

The youth exchange “Europe Meets China” brings together young people from seven European countries to explore the complex relationship between two major civilizations. Through interactive workshops, group discussions, cultural nights, and creative tasks like video-making, participants will reflect on global power dynamics, identity, and the role of Europe in today’s world. The project will take place at the Red Cross Educational Center in Orahovica, Croatia — a peaceful and natural setting ideal for intercultural learning, reflection, and collaboration.

 

EXTRA SPOTS are available for participants who meet one of the following criteria:

1. They are of Chinese or East Asian descent.

2. They have studied in China,

3. They are studying something related to East Asia.

 

Please note: This is not a vacation package. Comfortable accommodation and meals will be provided, focusing on the essentials of the project.

Elafonisos, Greece

Nature Logbook

We are looking for 2 youth workers from Serbia, aged 18+, who want to strengthen their skills in environmental education through direct contact with nature. This educational mobility is a perfect opportunity for you if:

– You are interested in how simple outdoor activities can inspire young people to reconnect with the natural world.

– You want to learn how to use the Nature Logbook – an analog tool that encourages reflection, creativity, and ecological observation.

– You care about developing approaches that raise ecological awareness with minimal or no use of digital tools.

– You are motivated to apply what you learn in your work with youth, especially in outdoor or rural settings.

 

The training course “Nature Logbook” brings together youth workers from six countries on the island of Elafonisos, Greece, where through outdoor experiences, observation, reflection, and creativity, we develop new tools for environmental education. The aim is to empower participants with hands-on, low-tech methods that can be directly used in local contexts. Accommodation is in individual tents on one of the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean – the perfect setting for learning, connection, and idea exchange.

202(4) Skills

We are looking for 4 youth workers, aged 18+, from Serbia who want to improve their skills in the fields of digital literacy, sustainable development, and inclusion. This mobility is a perfect opportunity for you if:

– You are interested in how modern digital tools can enhance your work with young people.

– You want to gain knowledge about environmentally responsible practices and the inclusion of marginalized youth.

– You are motivated to learn through practical activities and the exchange of experiences with other youth workers.

– You care about creating safe, supportive, and diverse environments for young people.

 

The training course “202(4) Skills” is an educational mobility for youth workers focused on capacity building through topics such as digital literacy, sustainability, and social inclusion. Through non-formal workshops, teamwork, and sharing best practices, participants will develop concrete tools and approaches for engaging young people in today’s context. The project invites you to step out of your comfort zone, think strategically and sustainably, and build skills that you can transfer to your local communities. Accommodation is in a unique setting – tents on the beautiful beach of Elafonisos island – offering a full experience of togetherness, nature, and non-formal learning.

What If?

We are looking for 6 young participant from Serbia, aged 18 to 30, who are ready to reflect on their relationship with technology and the digital world. This exchange is a perfect opportunity for you if:

– You are curious about how the internet and social media shape our habits, relationships, and ways of thinking.

– You want to develop critical thinking and gain practical strategies for a healthier digital life.

– You are inspired by the idea of spending a few days offline, in nature, connecting with the people around you.

– You are eager to explore the benefits and risks of the digital era through non-formal workshops, challenges, and teamwork.

 

The youth exchange “What If?” brings together young people on the island of Elafonisos in Greece to explore a powerful question: what happens when the internet disappears? Through creative workshops, discussions, cultural evenings, and reflection sessions, participants will analyze the role of technology in daily life and develop healthier digital habits. The project promotes balance between the online and offline worlds, encourages human connection, and deepens personal awareness of digital choices. Accommodation is in tents on one of the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean – a perfect setting for a reset and exchange of ideas.
